This Privacy Policy applies only to the online collection of information on our Web site. Different policies and practices may exist with regard to the offline collection of information by OCF. We collect two types of information – non-personally identifiable information and personally identifiable information that you provide to us voluntarily and knowingly.
Non-personally Identifiable Information: We collect anonymous browser information from visitors to our Web site, such as the domain from which you access the internet (your IP address), the time and/or length of your visit to our Web site, and the pages you visit while at our Website. This information is not personally identifiable and is not linked to any individual person. The information is used to improve the value of the materials available on our Web site and to provide you with content and offers that we think may be of interest to you. If you personalize a Web site, request information, make a donation, order products, register to participate in an event, submit a question through “contact us,” participate in a chat room, or register as a volunteer, we may collect the following information: first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, e-mail address, subject of inquiry, standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date) and record of the financial transaction (credit card numbers are held only until the charge can be processed then the number is only available to Customer Service for purposes of problem resolution).
Use of Information
We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us by email. Your email address will be entered into our database and we may contact you to provide you with information including OCD related health news, OCF programs, memberships, events and services, as well as to request monetary contributions to OCF and/or voluntary time contributions to OCF.
We may use the information you provide to us to fulfill your requests for information, memberships, newsletters, products, programs, services, etc. The information that you share about yourself will not be shared with any unauthorized third party. You can be assured that we will not rent, sell, loan, trade or lease personally identifiable information collected at our Web site. When you e-mail us, or send a technical question to our Webmaster, your personally identifiable information is not shared with anyone outside of our immediate organization.
Security
Our Web site has been made as secure as possible for sharing personally identifiable information. Our employees and contractors who have access to your personally identifiable information will use that information solely to carry out the services they are performing for us and are required to protect your personally identifiable information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.
