Intensive Treatment ProgramsIn addition to our Treatment Provider Database, we wanted to let people know about OCD Intensive Treatment Programs around the country that offer more than the traditional once- or twice-a-week individual therapy for OCD. All of these Intensive Treatment Programs are Institutional Members of the IOCDF. Listed on this page is contact information and program summaries for each of these programs. More information about each program is accessible by clicking on "Detailed Program Description" underneath each of the program names. There is a wide variety across these programs - some are very time limited (over a weekend), a few are very intensive (a residential stay of up to 3 months), and others are more research-focused than treatment-focused. We hope that this information will assist you as you try to find help for yourself or a loved one. You may also want to keep some of these things in mind when deciding on the right program for you or your loved one Important Things to Keep in Mind When Looking for a Therapist. Some insurance companies will work out plans with us to reimburse patients for intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) as well as for partial hospitalization (payment up to 6 hours a day).
